High-Intensity Electromagnetic Therapy

An electromagnetic field can pass through cells, tissues, organs and bones without any deformation or loss, activating the electrochemistry of the tissues and improving cellular and membrane functions.

The device generates a high-intensity electromagnetic field, which is delivered to the affected area through a special applicator. The electrical signal that is created triggers the release of acetylcholine (a neurotransmitter in the peripheral and central nervous system) and its uptake by the postsynaptic membrane of the muscle cells. This sets off a series of reactions whose end result is muscle contraction. This, in turn, is followed by the breaking of the actin–myosin bond and muscle relaxation.
